Born
in Columbus Georgia, Keith Forde aka: Keith (Donyel) was raised
in a town that didn’t offer too much city and not enough of
the country. Blessed with a mind for creating, Keith found himself
making gifts for everyone at Christmas and writing his first poem
for his mother in the second grade. He says that his mind has always
been like a spinning gift wheel that offered everyone he met a prize!
He entered and graduated from The Art Institute of Atlanta, as creativity
had always come extremely easy for Keith; it was the focusing of
his abilities that had been his challenge.
Fast-forward to the year 2004 and we find Keith (Donyel) focused
and poised to sprinkle the world with his literary prowess. One
day Keith was speaking with a friend who had been facing some obstacles.
Keith (Donyel) offered to email his friend a piece that he had written
that dealt with what he felt his friend had been going through.
Shortly there after he received a return call as his friend had
been touched deeply by what he had read and asked if he could receive
more material he could read. Keith was amazed that his work had
such an effect on his friend and he proceeded to email his friend
and eleven others a few of his pieces.
One year later he found himself emailing an original written piece
every morning to an audience of just over 300 persons! Receiving
encouragement and support from his many readers, friends and family,
Keith (Donyel) used his creativeness to produce his first self-published
book “Blue Print of a Black Mind.” The response he received
from the book was as winning as anything he had ever done.
The death of a friend pushed Keith to do something that he hadn’t
done too often with his writings; read a piece he had written to
a large audience. The reception from the congregation in the midst
of tragedy to something he created pushed him to create two more
books, “The Thought Process” and “Thinking In
Ink!”

Now he looks
to spread his writings talents to a larger audience of people that
he believes will find, peace, acceptance and an association with
his writings. Keith (Donyel) says; “I seem to write the way
that many people think but cannot enunciate, I don’t think
what I say is so different or unique, yet the way I say it is!”
His motto is “ A talent un-used is not a talent!” Well
he has a talent and is looking to put it to use!
