Reach One!

I wrote this piece as I was thinking of you, and for all the powerful things for me that you do. Without your love and support I am not sure what direction I would have gone, and if I would have left evil alone. Since you have come into my life I have grown, and become mentally fit and spiritually strong. If I could sing, I would sing you a song, but I can only write so I wrote this poem. I'd like to think in some sense that I've got it going on, and without you in my life I would be going wrong. I stand tall because you helped me to stand, and I am more of a person because you made me more of a man. I am not even sure that you had a plan; you just got in where you could fit in and gave me a hand. I wish there were more of you across the land, to help more of our brothers and sisters stand. But we would rather get in gangs or klans, and cause detriment to our fellow man. I am glad from me that you never ran, and pulled my feet out of the sinking sand. Thank God that I had you in my life, allowing me to raise my kids and show love to my wife. I don't owe you any money or even my hand in this life, I just owe you the courtesy to continue to do right. So that when given a chance I can change someone else's plight in an attempt to turn their wrong into right!
